The 2nd Annual Paddling For a Cause was held in August 2016 & as last year, the driving force behind the second annual fund raiser held for the The Cure Starts Now Foundation in Memory of Lauren Hill.

The month long campaign culminated on October 20th with a presentation of a $6372 check to The Cure Sarts Now accepted by Rick Merk. The event finale was attended by Lauren's family, friends, the press and the Cardboard Boat Museum Committee that organized and lead the event to a big success.

The committee would like to thank our sponsors and the amazing people that participated and donated to this important cause... The Tri State Kayakers, Green Kayak and the Down by the Riverside Campground.
To many donations toi list donations including VFW 6770 New Richmond and Light Paving Company.
We the after paddle Fund Raiser Celebration and Silent Auction at the Kreen Kayak on Front Street in New Richmond.

Below are photos of attendees, friends & participants in the actual river paddle & the Volunteers led by committee
chairman Angie Williams at New Richmond's Cardboard Boat Museum.
We had a great particpation again this year with 25 kayakers & 5 finished the 22 trek.

God Bless America.
